Privacy statement

Practicing pastry chefs can apply for membership at  two main levels


Ordinary Member (£40 per annum)
Junior Member (£20 per annum)


Other membership types are:

Committee member (£40 per annum)
Honorary member (
Gratis, by invitation only)
Associate member (for companies supplying the patisserie trade)

Membership entitles you to wear our badge, get preferential booking at our demonstrations and events, and receive our periodical magazine! We will also refund your application fee for Dessert  Of The Year competition. (Non-members pay £18 for that!)

After receiving your application, it will be reviewed at the next available committee meeting. Following a successful election to the membership, you will be receive your membership certificate.

Experience / Qualifications

Patisserie related course of study

Employment in pastrywork.

Pastrywork qualifications/awards from a recognised awarding body


and/or


Relevant industry experience.
